A well-known tough-on-crime California sheriff Chad Bianco, a candidate for governor, said that he was "changing teams" ahead of the 2024 election and urged people to support a "convicted felon."
"I think it's time we put a felon in the White
House," Riverside Sheriff Chad Bianco said in a video posted to social
media Saturday.
Bianco’s comments come after former
President Trump was convicted last week on 34 felony counts in New
York, making the former president the first president to be convicted of a
felony.
