Matthew T. Mangino is the former district attorney of Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. He is currently a member of the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole. Mangino's articles have been published in the Washington Post, Philadelphia Inquirer, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Cleveland Plain Dealer and the Harrisburg Patriot News. He is a featured columnist for the Pennsylvania Law Weekly and contributes regularly to the Youngstown Vindicator. His blog, The Cautionary Instruction appears every Friday at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette legal page Ipso Facto. He has provided legal commentary for CNN, MSNBC, FoxNews, Court TV and National Public Radio. In addition to his law degree from Duquesne University, Mangino earned a masters degree in criminology from the University of Pennsylvania.
