Every person facing the executioner has a story, every killing is as unique as it is devastating. The death penalty remains in 32 states. Matthew T. Mangino is the former district attorney of Lawrence County, Pennsylvania and currently serves on the Pennsylvania Joint State Government Commission’s Advisory Committee on Capital Punishment. He lives in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
